The Blue Cave tour became extremely popular and well-advertised, which brought its downside – the crowds. We altered our tour in the best way to avoid waiting in lines but still visit all the cool places. At the end of the day, it’s not about how many attractions you have seen, it’s about how much fun you’ve had.
After buying tickets for the Blue Cave, we will continue our spend our time exploring the Medvidina Cave instead of waiting in line for an hour or two. This nature’s work of art was one of the last known habitats of the Mediterranean monk seal. The inside of the cave is extremely dark and it hides a small sandy beach at its very end. A GoPro and a headlamp would be a nice combo here.
Spacious, blue, and simply spectacular. You have seen it in pictures many times, it pops out on every Google search mentioning Croatia. Is it really that beautiful? – Yes, it really is. Is it worth wasting a whole day of your Vis day trip from Split or Trogir just to spend a few minutes inside the cave? – Absolutely not, and that is why we`ve planned our Vis and Blue Cave boat tour to avoid the waiting time and seize the day to its fullest.
Often described as a “beach inside a mountain”, Stiniva is unique due to its characteristic tiny sea entrance between high monumental rocks. Due to high demand, the entrance is closed for boats, while swimming in it is allowed and free of charge.
After our boat tour to Stiniva Bay, we continue our adventure exploring the Budikovac Blue Oasis. A shallow sandy-bottomed area covered with crystal clear warm water forms a safe playground for the kids and a true chill spot for the adults – bring out the beers!
Lunchtime! A family-run restaurant with two terraces just next to the sea, serves sensational fish and meat dishes. Delightful and relaxing atmosphere topped with friendly service and great food. Huge portions, reasonable prices, and a stunning ambiance at “Moli Onte” – the best restaurant on the island. *Note: Lunch is not included in the price.
The last stop on our Vis and Blue Cave boat tour is a gorgeous ancient city with a special vibe, full of history and culture. You will have free time to explore the 13th-century city walls or hike up to the Austro-Venetian fortress located on the rocky cliffs above the coastline which provides a spectacular view of the bay.
Walk the cobbled streets of Hvar to find the town square and impressive St. Stephen’s Cathedral or hang out in one of the numerous cafes, bars, and restaurants with thousands of people from all over the world.
As you might have heard, Hvar transforms into a party town at night, but that is a story in itself. Find out more about it at our Party tour Hvar.
